Matt Johnson co-founded Be One Percent in March 2011 on a mission to unlock the power of collective giving. He teamed up with his friend, Steve Pilgrim, and together they encouraged 8 mates to contribute 1% of their earnings that month. The small group donated £166 for malaria treatments for 332 people and Be One Percent was born.

Matt has spent more than 18 years growing a number of businesses, including the digital agency Mando, of which he was co-founder and CEO. Mando works for leading global brands and is one of The Sunday Times top 100 companies to work for. In 2013, Matt launched Form, an organisation which runs leadership development and business consultancy programs.
